The vote in Ipainia is voluntary and exercised just by ipainian citizens.
The process to elect a president begins with a candidature registration in each party, then the period of political campaigns is started. This period ends with a debate in each political party. Afterwards, just one candidate of each political party will be elected to represent it. Once the democrat and republican candidates are elected, a new debate is organized. Finally, ipainians will vote for their new president in the general elections.
The process for the election of senators is organized in a different way. Both parties nominates a candidate by state (13 in total), then the political campaigns period is started and it ends with the general elections.
